Taj Mahal

The Taj Mahal is one of those places I have wanted to see since I was a child. Such a beautiful creation of human creativity and craftsmanship. That said, during high season it’s impossible to miss the fact that up to 70,000 people are on the grounds each day 🙂 At the beginning, you’re guided along the paths a bit like part of a herd.

In winter (which is peak season), there is also a significant amount of smog in the air (air quality index around 350 — very poor on that day), which makes photography a bit more challenging. Despite all that, it was still a unique experience for me to finally visit the Taj Mahal.

I hope you enjoy the images.
