Hampi – Krishna Temple & Bazar

Where ancient histories converge through commerce & beauty.
The Krishna Temple in Hampi, built by King Krishnadevaraya in 1513 AD, is a significant ruin dedicated to Lord Balakrishna, known for its grand gopurams, intricate carvings depicting his Orissa victory, and a large stone-paved Krishna Bazaar once famous for gems and jewels. The complex showcases stunning Vijayanagara architecture and a vibrant market area, making it a key site in Hampi’s UNESCO World Heritage landscape.

Grateful to explore and experience all this wonder and to share it, enjoy it dear friends.

Blessings
