Elephants Sanctuary

Spending half a day with the largest land animals on Earth, renowned as “gentle giants” for their immense intelligence, deep emotional intelligence, and empathetic social bonds, we were blessed to experience the playfulness, gentleness and calmness of rescued elephants at the Elephant Sanctuary in Chiangmai.

No chains, no rides, no pushing or rushing, walking side-by-side with them and experiencing their natural rhythms and expressions, witnessing and appreciating the depth of sincerity and care of the staff was an honour and a blessing.
