Chand Baori Stepwell

One of the largest in the world and considered a hidden secret in India and arguably Rajastan’s most impressive and oldest stepwell, Chand Baori was built during the 8th and 9th century, to conserve water and provide a respite from the intense heat. It was a community gathering place for locals as well as royals.
Chand Baori is an architectural wonder: 3,500 perfectly symmetrical, narrow steps form a magical maze and the consequent play of light and shadow on the structure that gives it such a captivating look, offering a timeless form of beauty, that reflects both ingenuity and artistry.

Enjoy this beauty, Beloveds!
