Watching the news and the big stories that dominate can be despairing. It’s easy to forget that in this world there is also a tapestry woven of little stories, the stories between friends, lovers, and strangers. The little moments of beauty and connection that occur all the time under the radar, the stories that, when shown, remind us how much beauty also exists in the world. I truly believe that there is deep healing in the creativity and the reverence for life that “Traces of Beauty” captured. I felt it in my heart when I watched it. It felt like an antidote to destruction and dullness. A rebellion of the inner child! A stand for life and the wonder and joy that we can create when we say yes!
