Hafeez Hassan – Singapore

From my co-creation with Singaporean dancer & choreographer Hafeez Hassan in Fort Canning in Singapore.

There is a very beautiful spot at the edge of the park called „Tree Tunnel“. We tried to accomplish the photo 2 times and postponed it 2 times, as there were so many tourist queuing up to get a photo themselves.

So the universe guided us to take the photo right after sunset (blue hour), which gifted us this magnificent blue sky behind the tree crown. To us it looked almost like a portal to another dimension.

I was scouting for beautifull „stages“ for our photo session and i found these amazing locations on this hill which hosted the royal palace before Fort Canning. Hafeez shared with me that he is feels drawn to this place and comes here often to do his morning practice.
